Open House : 2013
In concert with the Chicago Architecture Foundation's
the Palette and Chisel's open house
is becoming an annual event.
It's a good opportunity to invite in the neighborhood

have depicted the famous Bean in Millennium Park,
but so far, this one is my favorite.

Quite an accomplished painter,
and completely new to me.
I think she's from Dixon,
so she has a visitor's appreciation
of big city elegance.

Another artist who is completely new to me.
He has quite a resume.
He shares a German art-school background
with many of the P&C's earliest members.
He seems to specialize in wrinkly old faces
(as well as facades),
so I hope he puts some of his portraits
into upcoming shows.
