"Lauren became a member of the Palette and Chisel Academy in January of 2007, when Mr. Sam Knecht introduced her to Mr. Ed Wentz during his show the previous December. Lauren had recently declared her art major as a sophomore the October before, and the Palette and Chisel has played a profound impact on her artistic education even outside of a classroom in Evanston."
