I doubt whether Russian academies are still turning out artists with skill sets like Leonid's.

He combines Classical figure drawing with Cubist painting and Futurist design.

This dreary cityscape is my favorite.

I also like his Expressionist portraits

Horrible and beautiful at the same time.
