Henry Hutt

Henry Hutt (1875-1950) was a founding member of the Palette and Chisel who soon had great success as a magazine illustrator -- moving to New York, and designing covers for Saturday Evening Post, Redbook, Women's Home Companion, Ladies Home Journal, and Harpers Weekly beween 1898-1910.

He even published his own popular book of fashionable women, the Henry Hutt Picture Book, in 1908 -- which can still be found on auctions around the internet.

Hi--I wonder where you found that Henry Hutt picture of the girl standing on the chair. Is it in a book?

I did this post nearly eight years ago -- and can't remember anything about it.

But that's a cute image, isn't it?
