Here's the front page story of the Chicago Tribune today
about one "Alfred Juergens" (1866-1934)
a cache of whose paintings
were recently discovered in a house in LaGrange Park.
We know that he studied in Germany -- exhibited several times at the A.I.C.
and was a member of the Oak Park Art League.
But was he the same "Juergens" who was the member of the
Palette and Chisel exhibiting in the 1915
Artists of Chicago show at the A.I.C. ?
